Handling Deletions – First Draft

Deletions and data synchronization is a tough problem, but it doesn’t have to be – especially not with the patterns, tools, and techniques I outline in the latest chapter of my book Data Synchronization: Patterns, Tools, & Techniques. My latest chapter, titled Handling Deletions, covers multiple ways of navigating this problem space and is available for free as a first draft.

What is a first draft you ask? Simply put, this chapter contains all the information I set out to discuss, in the outline I set out to cover it, with basic proof-reading on my part. I intend to continue editing and improving this chapter as time progresses – thusly one of my motivations for writing a book in such a public fashion anyway – however, I encourage you to enjoy this chapter and welcome any feedback you may have.
